not buying bama. another year, same delusional bs.

best bama team yet my arse.
we will neutralize their offense completely, mainly by way of that little boy quarterback they're using. i'll go on a limb and say that a "game manager" will not/cannot beat this defense.
you need a playmaker, and this kid's not ready. i belive that jl and jj have already shown that they've got this.
i'm no more or less geeked for this one than any other bama game in recent memory. that being said, i honestly do not think they are even as good as their '09 and '10 teams.
bama branding is strong right now it seems.

Not buying it either, QB is a giant step down, LBs are good and defensive line is good but neither as good as last year. Receiving corps is a big step down also.

The difference is they are more focused this year.
LSU, on the other hand, is a FAR better team this season...especially on offense. We do miss KShepp tremendously, though.

LBs are the exact same from last year, plus Hightower is healthy this year. Not sure how they can be worse than last year.

I do find it funny how Gumps are so quick to throw GMac under a bus like any one of a number of QBs could be as good as he was. And they're really trying to make themselves feel better by comparing AJs stats to GMac's as if that means anything. I have also tried to explain to the Gumps that stats don't mean jack to this LSU squad. If we give up 400 yards and you only allow 200, we will beat your arse 38-21 and feel damn good about it.

at AJ being a giant step down from Greg. 3 int's (1 hit the WR in the hands and should have been caught) in 8 games and he is terrible, right? Yeah, JL has shown he knows how to play in T Town.
