This clown on BCS countdown (who has Boise S ranked #1) believes they're #1 because they beat Georgia & Oklahoma. When was the Oklahoma win? 2009?

I thought that myself, but damn. At what cost? I'll never take the guy seriously again. I believe that Boise is a great team, but I would not consider them to be the best team in the country by any stretch.

God, that was tough to listen to. OOC wins from past years won't help their case in 2011. They are a very well coached team but they essentially have no chance of playing for the title.

Yep... 06, I believe is right. Either way, it's a little ridiculous that he pins 3 key victories over the course of 5 years in giving a reason that Boise should be considered. Again, they're a good team, not a great team.

Scott Wolfe is a tool. He is/was the USC beat writer and yet back when USC was amazing and winning 34 games in a row he was routinely voting teams like Utah #1. One year 62 writers out of 65 had USC #1 and Wolfe was one of the abstainers and voted Georgia #1 who later didn't even win the SEC.

Idaho's Robb Akey voted TCU #1, Auburn #3 and LSU #16.
Illinois' Ron Zook voted TCU #6 and Stanford #7 while voting Wisconsin, Ohio Sate and Michigan State #3, #4 and #5 respectively.
