Saw the sign hung this week that they are taking applications...so that means no more than a week or two IMO. Can't wait myself...finally a good place to watch sports on the NS. And I live 5 minutes away.

I heard that a BWW is going to be built in Metairie at Severn and Vets on the old Bennigans site. Anybody can confirm?

2 friends of mine own the Civington Bww. One owns the the Beaumont location and one up in Monroe (I think). The other is his beat friend from high school that is now a doctor. Good to here y'all are excited about the new location. I'll pass the word along.

The only reason we're excited is b/c it's somewhere to watch a football game.
The food is hot garbage, so tell your friends to hope no one else opens a decent sports bar on the northshore or they'll go to shite.
Of course, now that I think about it, I'm sure they could pull plenty of UFC fans out of the area north of Covington.

The food is decent. I'm more excited about being able to drink beer all afternoon and watch every game possible

I go to BWW here in memphis 2-3 times a week to drink beer and watch a game or two....I never eat, the food sucks. However, the $3 22oz drafts until 8 are nice.
