Anyone see an upset tonight? Clemson struggled with Wofford's triple option earlier in the season and GT is bound to get their offense rolling again at some point. Clemson's D might be just what the doctor ordered for GT's O. I would say this game will be closer than what the experts think...but with the line hovering around 3 all week, the experts apparently already do think the game will be close. Just heard on Gameday that GT is 4-0 at home this year and Paul Johnson is undefeated at home against ranked teams. I wouldn't be surprised to see a Clemson upset tonight.

I like GT with the upset. Call it a hunch.

If the passing game works like it did against Kansas, we've got a shot.

Either way, I'll be there. Look for the nerdy guy with a beard

What? Lose at least one game during a regular season like 99.999% of all college teams do every season? Odds are that Clemson will eventually lose a game this season...and when they do, everyone is going to say, "Clemson pulled a Clemson" and "i told you so." Guess LSU pulled two Clemson's when they won the NC a few years ago.

Game is offered on espn gameplan package here in Baton Rouge. If you don't have the gameplan, many bars in town do (e.g, Ivars, Fox/Hound), and you can catch it there.

If Tevin actually plays worth a shite and stops playing like a girl we'll have a chance. If not, put Synjyn Days in . Bobby Dodd is going to be rocking for a little bit atleast.

Or if the running game works like it did in the first four games or so. If GT gets their O rolling again, their option/ball control style of offense will be the best way to defend Clemson's high scoring offense by keeping them off the field. Clemson's D is average, at best, and if GT can just eat up clock and score on their limited possessions, they can win this one. Clemson struggled with Wofford earlier this year and with this being on the road, and given Paul Johnson's record against Clemson, this has upset written all over it....and especially if Ellington and Dwayne Allen aren't playing for Clemson.

Couple things:

-Ellington will not start, and probably won't play

-Allen will most certainly play and the toe will be a non-issue. It's the same thing Spiller played with all season long (and torched Georgia Tech in the ACC Championship Game)

-A big key in this game will be how GT's backup center plays. To put it kindly, he was an atrocious excuse for a human being last week against Miami. Look for Clemson to startout in a lot of odd fronts with Brandon Thompson (their best DL) over that center. They're going to try to destroy GT's offense from the inside-out. All option games are predicated off the dive, and Clemson will try to blow it up with Thompson.

-Look for GT to go to quite a few straight tosses. Like I mentioned, Clemson is stout up the middle but they lack some speed and athleticism on the outside at linebacker so look for GT to try to get to the edge.

-If Washington continues to play like he has Clemson will win by 20+ and Days will be in by the second half. If Days had better ball security he'd already be in. The triple option simply doesn't work with a QB who can't bust the big play. Washington is a 15 yard big play guy where Nesbitt/Days and Vad Lee are TD big play guys.

-The second biggest part of this game is the first quarter. If Clemson scores early and gets up early this game is over. If, however, GT is able to get on the board early then they'll be able to keep the ball away from Clemson and it will be a helluva fight.

-Clemson hasn't won in Atlanta since 2004 but I expect them to get the W tonight.

They are going to blow us up on both lines. I just want to see us move the damn ball. The last 2 weeks have been terrible
