if Bama loses at home to LSU by more than 13, and Oregon is the team that had the smallest margin of defeat to LSU all year, would there be a re-match between the Ducks and the Tigers?

Assume Clemson loses. Would a 1-loss Oregon and Alabama be ranked higher than Boise State, or would Boise State have to lose a game for a 1-loss team to pass them?

Could be, although I think the media clamor for Boise would be hard to withstand.

Edit: But we're a long way from thinking about postseason play. One game at a time.

You thought it was unfair advantage in Texas? Just wait to you get in the superdome.

Y'all need to get through Stanford first, and that's not looking too easy. Plus it's at their place

Playing oregon again is like tapping the neighborhood girl that puts out. You get it one time and never ever go back for seconds.

Stanford's run defense is awful. And our secondary has been shoring up with Cliff Harris finally getting starter's minutes after being disciplined through the first half of the season with the suspension and limited time. Chip wanted him to "earn his spot back" and it seems he has.
We just got Michael Clay back too, so I'm feeling good about our defense.

And yeah, obviously this is contingent on three or four "If"s regarding wins/losses. But we got a lot of help tonite.

A one loss SEC team should be getting in the NC. It is a damn shame the system we have set in place won't put the two best teams in the country against each other. Not a team in CFB can beat LSU or Bama right now. They're simply on a different level from everybody else. Nobody has challenged either team and LSU has one of the hardest schedules in the country.

yet we played you guys better than anyone else so far, and our true freshman Thomas fumbled twice because of inexperience (he was holding the ball way out). He has been an absolute stud since and has learned how to secure the ball and still move quickly. I'm not making excuses about why we lost, you guys flat out beat us. But I'd love to play you guys again at the end of the year.

Ignore some of these recently arrogant pricks. I think an LSU/Oregon rematch would be better than many alternatives.

Not happening. You still need several undefeated to lose and the only way you get in the NC game ahead of a 1 loss SEC team is if they lose again. If every undefeated lost, they'd pick the loser of the LSU/Bama game over anybody else.

You'd need Clemson, OSU, and K-State to lose.

However, keep in mind that if a one loss team could surpass undefeated Boise in th BCS, it could be anyone from Bama to OU to Clemson to VT to Oregon.

This isn't guaranteed. IF Oregon is in their CCG and this one loss SEC team isn't we don't know what will happen in the final BCS

Wtf are u talking about? Our defense is ten times better now than at the beginning of the season and it will be better at the end of the season then it is now. The only reason I would want to play them is because I know we would win.

On a side note, Oregon will not beat ASU at a neutral site in the CG. They will not get all the bullshite calls in that game that gave them the win 2 weeks ago.

Pac-12 CG isn't at a neutral site, FYI.

the Pac 12 Championship Game isn't at a neutral site game. It's hosted by the higher ranked team.

second of all, LaMichael James was out that game.
