if you had to name ONE player (not, player A and player B, or the "entire defense" or other bullshite that i'm not asking about) that you would single out as having to have a big game to ensure an LSU victory, who would it be?

PJ Lonergan will save T-Bob from getting his head pushed in.

JLee - without a passing game, we are probably toast.

i'm going with D. Peterson.... if he can get open up the seam vs. their D, it'll open up a lot on the outside, and maybe even out in the flats for the screen game....

Brockers. Got to stop the run-game.

THIS!!!!!
I think both teams are so very close that it will be a game of field position and Wing gives us the better chance of that!

minter, he will be extremely important in taking away the bama running game. if minter has the game of his life, im confident we'll win.

Jefferson. Its really tough to run right at that defense. If we spread them out every now and then with Jefferson and do the read option some jet sweeps maybe we can get some good chunks of yardage on the ground.

Ditto. A healhy PJ makes our O-line one of the best in the country. He makes all the line calls, and having him in the game gives us flexibility at the guard position with T-Bob.

4 players...

JL and JJ

Wing

laugh at this one, Minters. Has a big body at LB and needs to be hitting TR.

If you look at the teams that bama has played, they have not played one team that was as balanced as LSU. They have only played one team with an offense at all, arky....and they don't have much of a running game (yes, i know they had a 92 yard run, but the other 30 carries averaged 2.3 per carry. Brantley passed for 200 yards on bama the first half....Lee can have a big day against them, because we have balance with the ability to pass.

Baker - the most improtant thing we have to do is stop the run and the screen game.

the attack is balanced.

i think passing makes up 47% while rushing takes up 53% of the yardage so far.
