For the last few weeks since his "buzz" has been increasing I have seen so many players run in and try to strip someone totally ignoring the tackle and I have yet to see someone actually get the strip...seems like everyones been watching TM7 and thinking they can do it too...but they don't have the swagger to pull it off

I love watching him in these situations. If he has his man solo he will go for the tackle and when reinforcements arrive that is when he goes for the strip. He plays it very smart so that he doesn't get beat due to poor tackling.

I saw Oklahoma do it against Texas. But HB leads the team in tackles too,

He didn't invent stripping someone. I think you just notice it more because you saw him do it. I see it a few times a game.

He is far more consistant about it though. He will always go for the tackle if solo and then will attempt the strip once it is a gang tackle. There have also been numerous times when he almost popped it out but the receiver held onto it to the ground.

You notice it because he is so often successful in his attempts. Moreover, as stated before, he is still sound in stopping the ball carrier with his teammates help when stripping the ball.
