The girlfriend and I are heading to Woodville today (whenever she gets a move on) to do a little day hike to see the waterfalls and shite. Anyone been? Hear its a great day trip. I've been looking forward to it all week.

Hey. If you don't mind, write back and let us know what it's like up there. I've never been. TIA.

We just got back about 45 minutes ago. It was a much shorter trip from BR that I anticipated. Slightly crowded today but no bother. They have two trails, primitive (we hiked this one for a bit, however it truly is for more experienced hikers), and a regular trail. It was a perfect day to go. There is another option for hikers, you can hike along the creek bed where the first water fal is located. We did this for a while and was my favorite part. Hiking through some of the creeks to get to the waterfalls was pretty challenging seeing as they had some pretty large rocks and got rather deep at times, but I enjoyed it. All in all we spent about 4 and a half hours there but we took our time and took lots of pictures. I'd say pack a lunch and have a picnic at one of the falls. It was definitely a great day trip. Will post some pictures tomorrow.

i've always like going up there. From downtown BTR to St. Francisville is 30 min. And from there about the same time. So it's not that bad of a trip.

If you haven't been, it's worthwhile...

Thanks for the update. I realize I'm showing my naivety here, but do any of the waterfalls drop into pools. I'm not expecting Kauai, just wondering if it's possible to swim there.
