I predict 2-3 for 19 yards.

1 TD 0 INT's.

4 handoffs.

If it gets ugly early - in a good way for us - I can see Mett playing most of the 4th quarter with fellow second and third stringers scattered about. If this happens he could have 8-10 attempts. Maybe.

Our style of offense precludes us from getting gianormous leads early in games, which is what it would take to see extensive Mett this year.

If anything, JJ comes in and stays to get some snaps/handoffs in the 4th.

Having JJ come in and play a lot in the 4th quarter with the team holding a big lead does absolutely nothing to help Mett prepare for 2012 when he will be the starting QB and the team's field general. Surely Miles & the staff can realize this & get him badly needed minutes. Mett is the future--JJ is the past!

You are exactly correct! Let's just wait and see when and if Miles recognizes this!
