Which local mortgage brokers are recommended in the Baton Rouge area?

SWBC, NOLA Lending, and Iberia Bank are the three I consider the best.

I dicked around with Iberia Bank for three months when I refinanced last year. Finally went to Hancock and had it done in less than a week at a better rate.

Why, what do they offer? What makes them better? Just because they advertise and say they are the best, doesn't make it so. Also, your Realtor is not a viable source.

I just bought another house and had everything quoted out. I would say those three based on fees, rate, and customer service. If you disagree, give him a better option. I found that the larger banks tend to have higher rates and fees.
For a construction loan, I have heard Whitney bank is one of the better ones.
