I watched The Gate last night and that's a good horror movie for kids if you have any

11:30 - Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde(1931)
1:15 - Mark of the Vampire(1935)

Transformation scene was ahead of it's time. Really creepy movie plus it's got all the pre-code sexuality.

The Orphanage is a good choice. Much scarier than almost any slasher movie.

but, I agree Italian horror is good. Don't say Suspiria, thought overrated.
