LSU grearing up for consecutive BCS title runs?

I tend to not get too caught up in the moment and try to look at games one week at a time. Im throwing that out for a moment.
Most folks think either LSU or Bama will likely represent the SEC in the BCS title game this year. Being the LSU homer that i am, im picking LSU.
Looking at this team for the next two years, we will have a QB who could (and hopefully will) generate heisman talk, as well as an excellent group of young wideouts (anyone heard of a kid named Odell Beckham? true freshman... holy shite, are you kidding me?)
not to ignore that awesome group of young RBs. This LSU offense could evolve into one of the best ever to take the field at Tiger Stadium.
As good as i think that offense could be, i think the defense is/will be twice as good. Sick is a word that comes to mind as this group matures for the next few years.
Id bet my house (if i had one) that this group gets at least 1 BCS title. Realistically, we'll be in that discussion for the next 2 years, and i wouldnt at all be suprised if we bring home more than 1 crystal trophy.

There is little doubt that LSU has several very good years ahead, as our team is very young and the quarterback position will be changing as we all know. While I am confident about this team and the years to come, it is the SEC. Everybody is tough.
Right now, I'd like to focus on this year and particularly this weekend with the Florida Gators. I honestly think we get victory, but you've got to bring it every week.
I'm not saying anything you don't already know, but just want to be a little humble.
I love your enthusiasm and hope you're right, but I might not risk losing the house. Just sayin'

I think you are right about our defense. The crazy thing is most of the secondary are sophomores this year and the dline will reload. The great thing is we have a very solid linebacker class coming in this year that will be exceptional from what I have seen. They are big and very fast which is exactly what Chavis needs in his system.
