Looks to me, JL is fine when he steps into his throws, but when he throws.......

off his back foot, the ball sails a little bit. Kid still has that problem. Can't seem to break that habit.

This is a new observation, first we have heard about this with Lee. Tell us more.

Well, I happen to agree with the OP. It is a fricking fact that he is still throwing "falling back" (is that better)? from time to time...and the ball floats and goes high. I rarely see him move up in the pocket and make a decisive throw. This was definitely more pronounced yesterday than I have seen in other games. If you can't see this then you obviously are fricking retarded.

I've also noticed how he blinks right before he throws which is a super bad habit because it messes with his depth perception.

To me, once a play breaks down Lee is pretty much done. No QBs like contact, but he REALLY doesn't like contact. Its not a big deal as long as he keeps making quick reads and getting rid of the ball on time. I think we will get the best test this week as I think WM is going to have a very aggresive gameplan and send the kitchen sink. If Lee can make the throws with pressure in his face, I will feel better about our chances against Bama.

With all the complaints of the WRs and drops yesturday, there were also several catches made on throws that were a bit off.

WOW....all his high school completions and LSU TD's he's thrown must be pure luck I suppose.

I hear he curls his toes on the last push before he takes a shite...maybe that compensates for the back foot throws

We all know he does it. Yet the dude has his team ranked number 1 with an impressive offense so far this year. Nobody cares...let it go

An ESPN pc. a few weeks ago praised A. Luck for his ability to get the ball close enough for the WR's to make a catch while throwing off his back foot.

Yes I can see, it's a flaw that he has gotten better but not completely erased.

It's also a fact that the WR's sometimes run bad patterns cutting to soon and coming back to the ball. Making the ball appear to be overthrown.
Things that most fans don't try and see. They did this last year for JJ as well.If people are looking at footwork only during games your not looking at wr patterns. The passing game needs work.Blaming Lee's footwork on 100's of threads makes you feel smarter, fine.
