Or at the very least getting an invite to NY which I think most LSU fans would be ecstatic about. To break up some of the monotony of this board and the ongoing QB debate, let's look at something positive and fun.

First off, for his career thus far and his incredible ball skills I just have to give props.
Imo, this is what needs to happen for TM7 to at least get an invite to the ceremony.

1) LSU must go to the MNC (would help if we were unbeaten).

2) TM7 must continue to make plays like he has, particularly against Florida, Bama, and Arky the "big three" left on our schedule. I don't think he necessarily needs to get a fumble/interception return for TD every week, but he's gonna have to probably average 1 TO/game for the season and have a signature one against a couple of those teams at least.

3) He's gonna have to take at least a couple punt returns for a TD. He'll get chances in future games, just has to capitalize.

So there it is, what does everyone else think he needs to do to be invited to NY? To give LSU our first Heisman winner since Billy Cannon? Is it even possible considering he's a defensive player?

4) By far the most important, Robert Griffith needs to come down to Earth. He has more TDs than incompletions this year.

4) Big performances in big games. A pick six against Florida, a PR for a TD against Alabama would go a long way.

I agree...at least one return for a TD and at least a couple of int's with one being a pick six.

2 TD's and would have been 3 if WVU doesn't tackle him short of the goal line, just amazing!!

FIFY and he plays for Baylor. They'll come down to earth when they play the good Big 12(-3) teams. Not too concerned about him.

Imo, the single most important thing. Voters and the media like to talk about the "signature moment" for the Heisman winner and that has to occur in the biggest games of the year
