Who knew that 7 years later, Devery Henderson would have a SB ring?

Funny how the announcer(Dave Neal?) said "LSU wins the ffffffootball game! I swear he was about to say "LSU wins the fffff***ing game"

It's crazy. I just remembered about that game today during class and just kept watching it over and over again! I love it

Dave Neal ended with " LSU wins game as the Kentucky students tear down a goal post"

After Kentucky kicked the field goal to go ahead with 11 seconds (can't believe they took a timeout with 15 seconds left before kicking too, didn't remember that), I noticed the Kentucky state troopers on the sidelines going wild and high fiving each other.
It felt so awesome knowing that their jubilation was about to be shattered.

pause, rewind, play, stop, rewind, play, pause, rewind, play, stop, rewind, play, in slow-mo.
I must have re-watched the ending like 5 times tonight. Laughing at the Kentucky fans never gets old!!

Where were you for the blue grass miracle!!!
I was watching the games with friend at an apartment in tiger village. When we won the whole place erupted!!! every apartment was screaming. I called my grandfather (biggest tiger fan I know). He said " oh that was awful after Kentucky kicked that field goal I turned off the tv. That game was just pitiful.. I‘m so mad." I said "WHAT! You turned the game off." Paw Paw we won!! He flipped! To this day he never turns a game off. He’s still upset that he didn’t see the bluegrass miracle live and had to watch replays.
Now before you judge my paw for turning off the game and being mad. Keep in mind he is a 86 year old WWII Marine who still plays golf 3 days a week. He has been to every LSU home game for 26 years. Yep.. Biggest LSU fan I know!

I was on an aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf for this game. I had a $5.00 bet with a good friend of mine from Kentucky. We were in the Chief's mess (our cafeteria and lounge), Armed Forces Network was broadcasting a different game, but we had confiscated the computer at the back of the lounge.
We clicked for updates on the score, but our connection was REALLY slow. I watched the updates in horror (remember, not video of the game, just a score, time, and status). When Kentucky scored to go ahead, I paid off on the bet (yeah, I know), and my friend got everyone's attention (the other people in the lounge watching the other game on TV) and showed off the $5.00, then went out into the cafeteria part of the Chief's Mess to continue bragging.
I clicked update one last time to see the final score. It took at least 2 or 3 minutes to update, but when it did...well, you know. I clicked again just to make sure. Then the fireworks went off.
I didn't see the actual play until we returned from deployment. And to this day, I occasionally sign my emails to him as "Devery Henderson".
