Quote..His weird play calls and unusual use of the English language -- not quite Bobby Bowden-like but in the same universe -- were once used against him, but are now being ignored. Winning will do that.. They forgot Jedi-mind tricks...

I don't see Miles ever leaving LSU, unless we fire him...

The difference between Les Miles and Nick Saban is night and day. Saban is hard-driving, in your face, and egomaniacal. That is certainly not a knock on Saban. Nick Saban is arguably the best football coach in college football today, but let's be honest, that is what Saban is.

Miles, on the other hand, is a laid back, often goofy, family man who is not afraid to laugh at himself. More importantly, you can tell from Miles' demeanor on the sidelines that he loves college football, and not just college football, Miles loves LSU

i got this off the bleacher report.... I happen to agree totally....

I wouldn't trade Miles for anybody as head coach here.

This is such a silly story. I'm sure Miles has thought about it, but in all seriousness Miles isn't going to the NFL.

Look at this interview. Miles loves college football. The only place he would be leaving for was UM and he turned them down twice.

Watch recruiting GO UP after this trick. I know who's behind the rumors, and it's going to backfire on them ... LSU recruiting in the next 5 years will be OFF THE CHARTS

This. Miles has it pretty damn good here. He has a chance to be remembered as the most successful coach in the history of one of the top 15 programs of all time. Why throw that away, piss off LSU fans and uproot your family to take an NFL gig that has les job security than any other job on the planet.

You absolutely couldn't melt and pour CLM on the NFL. I also don't believe he will be offered under any circumstances.
