The Sox are 5-17 since he appeared on Curb Your Enthusiasm. If they complete this epic collapse they might as well blame him for this one too.

you gotta feel bad for Buckner though. Even though he obviously didn't curse the Sox this year, I'm sure he wishes he had different timing with that CYE episode

Wow you're right and probably much much smarter than me. I'm actually an Astros fan who just spends a few months out of the year up here but still pissed that I'm going to miss out on my playoff tickets af Fenway.

Ok. I will apologize, but what the heck do you expect from a completely pissed off Red Sox fan right now? That being said, Buckner being vilified was wrong and most intelligent fans didn't blame him. He should never have been in the game for defense.

I also appologize, as I am admittedly not a true Sox fan more just upset about the loss of tickets. Also I never meant this to be taken literally. I don't think anyone can watch that whole series and seriously blame Buckner. I think all Sox fans who blame him much like the Cubs fans who blame Bartman, etc. are all dillusional.

30-30 Catching Hell was hillarious, especially the part where the Marlins realized the air went out of "the friendly confines'' after the foul ball. Marlin's Mike Lowell says, "Here's our chance, let's make him famous,'' ala Billy the Kid. Cracked my arse up!!!!!
