Lou Holtz picks West Virginia: Is a sellout company man now. Holtz is a Say & do anything for a $$ Buck TV person working for ESPN.

The 2011 LSU football players on the other hand are...LINK And the LSU coaching staff is...

"The good news is that we've been on the road and understand it," Miles said. "We're getting to a point where our road character is established, as is our personality."

Good! He picks ND every week and so far they are 1 and 2. He doesn't like LSU, so picking WVU to win should not be a surprise.

Does this guarantee victory

There's no such thing as a guarantee.....but Lou Holtz predicting LSU to lose is the one thing that usually gives me the most comfort going into a big game. It's unbelievable how many times he has picked against us and never seems to learn. The little goof was born in West Virginia and coached at 2 dozen places. He never bets against a school that he has even the slightest association with. He is the most biased prognosticator on the planet.

Dr. Lou almost always picks the underdog that way, when an upset does happen, he can come back and say "sssheeee!! I told you so"

The only reason I don't bash him is because I have a feeling that he might have had a stroke...he didn't always have the speech impediment as bad as it is.

He is pretty terrible on TV though.

I can't believe that any of you are actually surprised by this. He as always shown to be a homer by picking ND and USCe every week. Then why would he change course and not pick the team from the state in which he was born...West Virginia.

The whole Dr Lou mystique is that he's giving a pep talk to the underdog that inspires them to win. Giving a pep talk to the favorite and the favorite winning adds nothing to the mystique.

Come on people.
