Early Free Agent Pickup - Bernard Scott - Benson could be suspended for 3 games.

Yahoo! Sports' Michael Silver reports Cedric Benson will be suspended three games for violating the personal conduct policy during the lockout.
Benson has already spent time in Commissioner Goodell's office for previous infractions, so he's being treated as a repeat offender. He's expected to play this week against the 49ers before his appeal is heard next Tuesday. Should the appeal fail, Benson would then miss a trio of attractive matchups against the Bills, Jaguars, and Colts. Bernard Scott and Brian Leonard will likely split the workload in place of Benson. A legit playmaker, Scott is the preferred waiver pickup.

Picked him up. In a 12 team league and backs are few and far between. I don't see myself ever playing him (maybe week 5 when I have a bunch if guys on byes) but I am going go be THAT GUY and make sure no one else can have him.

just grabbed him, he's got some easy games ahead, especially if Benson is out for the Colts game

I don't think i would drop Jacobs for him. Scott is fun for a few weeks if the suspension goes through but after that he is off the radar again.

people thinking bernard scott is going to come in for 3 games and set the world on fire are delusional. i would only add if i am desperate for a one game plug and play for a bye week. I would drop nothing of any substance for him.
