Payway? Do they sell PayDays at Payway by any chance.

I know people love to hate on chains but that's a pretty solid addition to that area of town.

Disappointing development. The only one of the four I've eaten at was Panera Bread and it was not good. Too many new chains opening on Vets. The suburbs of New Orleans are undergoing a traditional American suburbanization and ousting of local businesses in favor of the large chains. A sad day.

Well Coyote Blues is at least a Louisiana Chain
Panera bread is decent. You've only eaten there once as you said.

Is hard for mom & pops and unique concepts to make it in this economy.

I'd consider Coyote Blues a unique concept.
And from my experiences it's better than any Tex Mex place in the entire metro area by a wide wide fricking margin.

I did not say I only ate at Panera once, unfortunately for me.

Yeah, I agree. I think it's pretty solid.

Sorry I misread it
I've eaten there a handful of times. Didn't think it was that bad. Definitely beats some shite place like Subway or Quizno's

Yay to Panera Bread and Coyote Blues.
Pei Wei looks gross from the website (I take that it's another Panda Express?
) and I went to Bonefish Grill once in Destin, thought it was a decent meal--not great, not bad, but decent/acceptable.
Panera's much better than Subway and most fast/quick food ventures. Plus they have breakfast options and the bread and pastries are good.

P'Man a very good response as they are pretty solid with thier food, especially if they hire and train a good crew to work the ovens. It isn't artisanal bread, but very good mass produced knock-off stuff.

Cafe East>>>>>P.F. Chang's

I'm just saying it's a lot better than Panda Express as far as counter service chinese places go

I haven't eaten at Panda Express, but Pei Wei is actually solid for what it is.
