The home team is supposed to wear dark jerseys and if they want to wear white then they have to ask the visitors if it's ok. I believe this is why LSU sometimes has to wear purple because the visitor wants to wear white. Not completely sure if this is true.

not in the sec, home team has choice. an ooc team could make lsu wear purple at home though.

Home team decides what color jerseys they want to wear. It started with DiNardo. Funny it's their white-out game, though. Guess they remember what happened the last time we played on Thursday night in Starkville wearing purples.

I know this is crazy ---- I know. I know. But won't it be hard for our qb an to pick out receivers if we're wearing white and the whole stadium is also wearing white --- kind of like if you had a centerfield wall decorated like a baseball.

I have always thought the white-out concept was dumb for this reason. BUT, at least JLEE will know who *not* to throw to! MSU=SCREWED!
