It IS a nice gesture for him to bring the scout team and all--dressing out 115 players.

If I was a player on NSU's team, I'd be pissed. Yeah, let's bow down to the competition by acknowledging their superiority before the game. F That.

Why so? It's a big deal to them, let them enjoy it. They said they're going to play to win, so why again would you be pissed?? None of their players will be pissed - they're excited to get the opportunity to play in a great stadium.

Just curious - what instrument did you play?

I agree.

I mean, do they really stand a better chance of winning by going in there like the Lombardi-era Green Bay Packers, being "serious" and "here on business"?

They are going to get manhandled either way, so you may as well have a little fun.

I think BDP is playing it right--let the players enjoy the experience and play the game wide-open-gambling with nothing to lose.

Because they literally have nothing to lose.

BDP needs to worry about McNeese and Lamar and he doesn't want to get his players hurt at LSU.

Let's welcome back one of the worst coaches in LSU history BDP. I still wish ill after what he and Mallory did to our defense.

Classy move and approach by Peveto. Also could have the effect of his kids playing loose rather than nervous. I have a lot of respect for players on teams like NSU who take on top flight D-1 teams and play their asses off. (See, e.g., McNeese last year).

I see it this way...
he knows he is not going to beat LSU, but he could BETTER his team with experience and exposure to a level of play they are likely not to see in their conference. I think the playing time will make them better in their conference...part of growing depth into a program.

You people have no clue. This is like killing two birds with one stone. Peveto want to have his player play at their best. Peveto wants his player to experience the thrill of playing in the atmosphere of tiger stadium.

Many of those kids are going to be a bit overwelmed by the atmosphere. This is a great tech for fixing that. Go in and enjoy it for a while and be awed. Instead of trying to never acknowlegdge the feeling and then having it have an effect the entire day.

Just like in the series Lost. Sheppard the doctor let himself be terrified for 10 seconds. And after that it was calm and down to business. Same thing here.
