So I sat down and watched Paul this weekend and really wasn't as entertained as I thought I would be.Simon Pegg was funnier in Star Trek I feel.
Seth Rogan is honest to god garbage in anything involving acting. Jason Bateman was the best character to me. And I felt after they picked up the cyclops chick a lot focus shifted to sending an anti-christian msg than really finishing out the movie and making it funnier...

What was Y'alls opinion?

I saw it about a week ago, and I enjoyed it and felt like it was a good concept, but yea Seth Rogan's voice was super annoying. It's way too recognizable and did not match up with the alien at all.

I think, had they had a different voice actor, the movie could be enhanced

Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz are two of my favorite movies of all time.

Paul was an epic let down for me. I maybe laughed three times. Just not funny and Rogen's voice ruins the alien.

I was disappoint. :-(

It was one of those movies where the funny stuff you see in the trailer.....is pretty much all of the funny stuff.

Around that point in the movie, they decided that throwing out random curse words would be funny......it wasn't.

Would've been funnier without the anti-religion message.

The Jesus shooting Darwin shirt was hilarious, but the Atheist lesson went on and on and on...

We get it.

I turned Paul off after about an hour.

The whole movie was just one big anti-Christian propaganda film. . .and none too subtle at that.

Invention of Lying was as well, but at least it offered a chuckle or two.

Agreed.....the shirt was hilarious. But I guess now the popular thing in hollywood is to ram an Atheist agenda down the throats of the audience.
