after watching games all weekend, there is only 1 team that can stay on the field with LSU this year and that is Bama......there is nobody else in the SEC that should give us a game....doesn't matter who the QB is....we are just too fast on defense for anybody else.....

I'm not going to worry about Bama until much later. We have several key games to get past before $$$$$ and his boys in red welcome us to T-town.

Yea, because Miss St. away on a Thursday night and WVU away will be easy games because LSU is faster on Defense.

Although I agree with you in principle, it is only one game and we were the only ranked team to play a quality opponent (Boise doesn't count). If you can stil mke this statement October 1, then I will wholeheartedly agree with you.

As you may know, being premauture can be embarrasing!

basing the season's predictions on one game is better than a pre-season prediction but not much. unfortuneatly, human performance varies from game to game and we have a long way to go. we have 9 more games on our schedule that make me nervous because we have a chance to lose any one of them. this team could go undefeated or it could lose 3 (or more) games.

Not only that, but TR averaged a whopping 2.8 ypc. Bama is vastly overrated.

How did that work out in 2007? I like LSU's chances, especially when the game before is Northwestern State. I think LSU uses this week as well as next week to prepare for the Moo State game. No need to waste time prepping for NSU.

Bama does not have the depth LSU has, period. LSU beat bama last year, because our QBs made a few plays when they had to. If our QB makes a few big plays this year vs Bama, we win again. It's that simple.
