for Cowboy games better than yesterday? If anyone can do it big it's Tiger fans but for a 7pm game with 60k+ tiger fans the atmosphere sucked.

You're high, unless you are talking about tailgating which was still solid for being a foreign ground... Inside the stadium was rocking where I was, section 226/227

I'm confused..... are you asking if there is more of an "electric" feeling before Cowboy games compared to what was there yesterday?

If that's the case, JMO, I hate the Cowboys so I could care less what the atmosphere is like. I hate the Cowboys.

For me, it was close to tailgating in BR.

This is confusing me as well:

The atmosphere around pro stadiums always sucks from a strictly tailgating perspective. As for a weak atmosphere around the stadium yesterday, most people I know didn't tailgate around the stadium, they were at different parties and bars. Tailgating on the road...even for Tiger fans on the road...just doesn't compare to being in BR.

The tailgating around me was really cool. You have to remember, there are different alcohol laws there.

We set up our canopy, had the tv going, ate chicken, bloody mary's..... To say it sucked..... um, maybe you had too much to drink.

Maybe i didnt have enough to drink - 3 beers before the game - got there at 2.

By sucked - i mean compared to LSU campus - or hell, even a Saints game.

Well of course it was nothing even remotely close to the LSU tailgating experience.

And Saints games don't really have tailgating you just hit up bars. Not to mention the early kick.

Just asking - Did we do it bigger than Cowboy fans at their place?

I hear ya. Yeah, it's not BR to be sure, but I enjoyed it. Aside from setting that canopy up in 107°.

I liked seeing all the Tiger fans setting up their areas.

Thing that pissed me off is that there was this "rule" that the tailgating had to be on the grass, so that's where we set up ours.

I saw a few canopies set up on the parking lot and security didn't tell them anything. I read the "rules" from the place's website.

That may have made it look more sucky than it actually was..... everyone was on the grass setting up their spots.

Another reason for me to hate the stupid Cowboys. These are the rules.... well, we'll let this go but we won't tell you about it. The lots were supposed to open at noon, we got there at 11:30 and the damn lots were already open.

If that's all you drank, you're part of the problem.

I don't wanna speak for anyone else, but it's a lot easier for me to bring out the grill, the food, all the extra coolers, and other various tailgating supplies on my fifteen minute drive to campus than it is to bring all that eight hours to Dallas.

The night before was also part of the problem -

worked that off by 4, then worked on the 8.50 beerz and 16$ margaritas inside the stadium.

Top 10 answers to your pathetic post

1) F the Dallas Cowboys
2) Geaux Tigers
3) Not sure where you were, but our area (along Stadium Drive) was awesome
4) F the Dallas Cowboys
5) Geaux Tigers
6) Geaux Tigers
7) People traveled hours to this game, not always easy to haul 10k pound smokers and dead pigs for cochon de lait
8) I've tailgated at a Cowboys game and most people are wearing Polo shirts and entertaining clients, how dare you compare LSU fans to that BS!
9) Cowboy "fans" know the tips and tricks for pulling off the premium tailgate. LSU fans made the best of it and showed MAD representation for the State of Louisiana. F YOU for even comparing the two.
10) Geaux Tigers!!!!
