Can you imagine seeing your son getting screamed at the way Kelly was screaming at #7 on national tv after the ball bounced off his helmet.

His conduct was disgraceful. I'm a ND fan and have been most of my life. But Kelly didn't just get boiling mad after some bad plays (say like Saban does), he was red-faced with hysteria. It went beyond teaching and getting a young man's attention to being out-of-control. If I was a hc at a rival school recruiting against him, I'd definitely have some pics of him from that game.

I don't mind coaches grabbing facemasks and shite, but counter w/ positive reinforcement too...
Seeing some of Kelly's antics on highlights is pretty pathetic and that's just highlights. I wonder if ESPN shows his worst outbursts?

People like to rag on Lou Holtz, but he would do this but you never had to worry about him and how he treated his players--he really was just getting their attention but still treated his players with respect.
