Why all the hate for Jefferson and not Johns? He represents lsu as well.

A lot of you have shown your true colors about this and it is sad. I mean dang Johns was arrested too but you don't see anything negative being said about him. He represents lsu just as much as jefferson does when they are out in the community. Let the negativity rain down!

BECAUSE JJ is YOUR leader and Landry, Johns and others would not likely have been there if he said no. Plus, Johns is a hell of a lot less important to the team than JJ. I am an African American and can tell you that this isn't about color, it is about winning.

Outside of the players and other participants in this matter, none of us knows the ins and outs of what occured. Why did this happen? Who threw the first punch? Did JJ kick someone in the head? I don't have the answers because I wasn't there. As to the negativity towards JJ and lack of to Johns...common sense would dictate that JJ was the starting QB and Johns was not going to see much playing time this year. So yes, most of the attention is on JJ for that simple reason. As a fan and having not been there, I would put my trust in Miles and how he handles this and let this sad situation play out.

A player who wears the same uniform as jefferson also, a player on scholarship like jefferson it doesn't matter about playing time I am talking about the general public as a whole

The attention was on Jefferson because he is the "star" of the team and a local celebrity. Joe Blow public didn't know who Johns was.
