Hey everyone! I want to enroll in a company sponsored DRIP, but don't know how too.
The two I had in mind were Albemarle (ALB), and Intel (INTC).

I have the general idea.
1) Both of these companies require an initial ownership of shares for enrollment. I own shares of both.

2)There are enrollment fees, sale fees, minimum, and maximum purchases, etc. I know what they are.

But how do I actually get into the company sponsored DRIP? I use Scottrade as my brokerage and they do not offer any DRIP services.

It looks like computer share would work for Intel, but Albemarle does not come up on their list?

That sight looks sketchy as hell. I'm not down with that. I need a more legit holding company for Albemarle.

Why not invest in an index fund with automatic reinvestment of dividends? Minimal cost, plus probably a better risk/return profile.

I don't want an index fund because I am only interested in investing in a small number of specific companies on an individual basis.

Because there aren't many companies that provide the service that Computershare does.

To the OP: Check the investor relations part of Albermarle's website. It looks like Wells Fargo is their transfer agent, so any DRIP will be done through them.

P2294 nailed it! I found a PDF file explaining the whole process too! Wells Fargo it is.
