Sounds like a ton of shoes for a player to have in their closet. How many pairs of shoes does the NCAA allow a school to give players? I doubt their scholarships allows enough spending money to buy that many shoes. I really hope this is not going to be another problem. The program doesn't need any more issues.

I doubt if he had 49 pairs of shoes from Target or Wal-Mart. He's spending A LOT of money on shoes. I'm sure they're over $100 unless they're some cheap dress shoes from Wal-Mart.

I don't know how well of his family is but I'm sure they can afford some shoes.

I think the team has access to a lot of shoes, which is donated by Nike, which is part of their contract, I am pretty sure a lot of those shoes might have been old shoes he has used to play in.

Is there a contest tonight to see who can start the most retarded thread? I'm seriously beginning to wonder.

When my sister high jumped for LSU in the late 90's she received tons of stuff from Nike, so I would have to think that now they get much more and it is football!
