There is even some recent practice film of Lee running the option — a part of LSU’s offense not usually used when he is in the game.

Knew this would kill yall

Lee isn't bad with the option.

Not great, but I assume being 20 lbs lighter he will be better. IF the QB runs the options properly you don't have to be a speed demon.

That's the frustrating thing about our offense...why wouldn't we cater to Lee's skill set and go vertical...

Crowton written all over it. its a terrible idea. The option is to keep them honest. you don't keep the honest if the most you can gain by the QB keeping it is 5 yards.

They need to focus on Lee's strengths and let him get comfortable. Not force it, eliminate mistakes and make a few throws on play action and let the RBs do the rest

Guy was ready evertime his number was called last year.
No reason to believe it wont be the same this year.

Funny part is...with all of his pick sixes and lack of running ability we still averaged 30 pts per game and ranked much higher than 109 in passing offense. If we had a decent defense that year, JL (as rough as he was) was still good enough to get us to 11-2 or better.

Yeah since Jefferson was so great against auburn.

Without Lee we win 9 games at most last year

We might not win the Florida and Tennessee games last year without Lee. And let's not forget the long completion Lee made to seal the Alabama game.

Whatever comes of this JJ situation, either way it goes down.

I just hope everyone can rally behind whoever is back there and support the team.

Hasn't thrown a Pick-6 in over 2+ years.

He threw one pick in 89 attempts last season.
