Janzen Jackson dismissed from UT football team

Janzen Jackson was a five star recruit from barbe in Lake Charles and was a Tiger commitment. At the last minute, he changed to UT when Kiffin was there. As per the report on www.collegefootballtalk.com, Janzen Jackson was dismissed from the UT football team after failing several drug tests.

Its hard to be happy about someone failing sooo bad, and wasting all that talent, but this guy really deserves it IMO.

No. Wilson has Nola on lockdown. JJ was from Welsh and his dad was the DB coach at McNeese. A week before NSD, his dad gets a job at Miami (OH) which is 5 hours from UT as opposed to the 12 hour trip from Lake Chuck to UT. JJ pulls a signing day switch for Kiffin and O then they leave town. He's been in trouble ever since.
FWIW, his dad is now the defensive coordinator at Western Kentucky.

Wow, all the hoopla over this kid, and in the end, good thing he never went to LSU. I will say this, the kid was one hell of a player, had a bright future in football, but a lot of times, kids like this will just end up hanging around the local crack house...

Could you Imagine if he ended up at the same school Janoris Jenkins ended up at? Talk about a scary secondary for some poor QB lol
