He is talking about the fact that with all of this negative information coming out about Miami, if there are any recruits that they could possibly lose that LSU could then pick up.

Raph Kirby from Stone Mountain, GA is committed to Miami. He was one of Chavis' major national LB targets.

Not saying anything will happen with UM recruiting or any of these players have any real interest, but here are a list of Miami commits who have LSU offers per rivals:

Raphael Kirby

Keith Brown

James Burgess Jr

Jelani Hamilton

Amos Leggett

Here are Miami commits showing interest in LSU per rivals:

Preston Dewey
Vernon Davis

They have some pretty talented players for sure. However, any drop in recruiting will probably be next year IMO unless the NCAA actually does something before the end of the season.

I think we were definately in the picture for Jelani Hamilton, but the signing of Hunter might have changed that. Should be interesting to see how this plays out.

This is going to be the wrost penalties since SMU.....and it MAY get as bad...

The hammer was dropped on others because of lack of control and such....but at UM, the coaches were ON BOARD and it went on as common knowledge for 10 yrs...

My guess is a bunch of slow white guys playin there 2 yrs from now..

Makes Ohio St look like a jaywalking fine..

The "U" era is now over. The problem is, Florida and Florida State will be the huge benefactors of a death penalty. Those 2 schools are gonna be scary loaded now!

And this could really put USF to another level if they steal a couple...

It already is the largest university in Florida, right?

Doubtful. All the Miami athletes want to go to a big time school. Not a school that is up and coming. However, USF will start to pick up the 3* and project guys Miami used to get.

Les Miles killed that in 2005.

Ever since that epic beatdown, Miami has finished the regular season ranked just once.

We may benefit some but the big winners will be all the other Fla. schools...

The U has been cheating since the 80's time for them to go Div. II

I'm guessing he'll jump to Florida or FSU (who he already has been committed to.. Miami, then FSU, now Miami again)

I'll just say it's glad to have Avery as part of this class and staying for good.

For those who think it won't affect this year, you are mistaken.

Maybe, but if something BAD comes along, like DEATH penalty, then you could see a group of guys get together and all stay in town and jump to USF...

If something like that were to come about, it would permanently put USF in a position to be a perinnial power....

They have large enrollement, great coaching, and if they get a few players, they will start turning the 4 and 5* 's heads more often....

I'm not saying this is to be, I am saying it is as big of a posibility as any.

ALL these guys can't go to FSU and FLa, there will be many 4*'s left!

I think the big winners will be Florida State, Florida and Georgia.
