Thomas Jones is still the starter. Even if it is only nominally, I still can't take a back that high that isn't going to get the bulk of the carries... Especially given the other rb options. What do you think?

i feel the same way, though he has been explosive for 2 straight years without a ton of carries.

he is someone i would take somewhere between 8-12. Generally he wont be there, though.

My question: LeSean McCoy or Charles?

I'm taking McCoy over Charles in my big money league. I'm not even that concerned with Jones. McClain taking the goal line carries is my biggest concern with Charles.

Thomas Jones was the starter last year and Charles finished a top 5 back. I don't see a problem

You don't see Charles being the next Ray Rice? Hell, he essentially is in an identical situation.

Charles only had 5 TDs I think last year. You really think he'll have less than that this year? It's not like he's going from 15 to 3. If he can get me a consistent 15 points a week like he did last year, I don't care about the TD's.

If you play in a standard league then I could see you passing on him, but in a PPR if he slides past the top 5 someone will be getting a steal.

kinda hard to keep putting up 6.0 YPC seasons

not that he wont be good, but his numbers wil likely drop if he gets the same amount of carries

I just think McCoy gets severely overlooked. He easily lead the league in receptions by RB last year.

Not in my PPR league. He was 19th overall and the 7th RB behind Foster, Charles, McCoy, Hillis, CJ, and McFadden. McCoy averaged 5 points more per week than Rice.

I like steals.
