it's more than possible. Chip Kelly is assured to try something stupid this game.

If you would like to see how that may play out, please follow the link below

Not quite sure what you're asking, but no, Oregon doesn't really run the triple option.

BTW Paul Johnson gets irritated when people say Georgia Tech's offense is the triple option. The triple option is a play, not an offense...and it only constitutes about 15% of the snaps at Georgia Tech.

I really think the only chance they have is to exploit the interior line with quick hitters. If they can't do that, they will be hurting. They should next try to exploit our aggressiveness on the edge, with screne's, etc. The tripple option would be a sign that nothing is really working, and its going to be a long day IMO.

the triple option is just a play they run when the regular zone play is working, b/c it completely reverses the D

all it takes is one good triple option play and that 2nd RB will create hesitation every time he counters on a normal zone play

I'm so happy classes start in a week which will speed up the month. So tired of hearing of Oregon's GOAT option offense that can't be stopped.

They can sell that to somebody who doesn't know any better.

Oregon runs a couple of triple options. The most common is what I call the "Straddled" Triple Option where we run an Inside Zone one direction, and the speed double option the other direction.

I'll be doing a video about it a few weeks.

We also run a triple option on playside, which began with the final regular season game of the year and was done in the NC game. Below is a report about the new "Slash" formations which had some triple option out of it.

In Oregon's case the play is not the center of the offense but simply another variation-derivative off the base offense.

Yeah, GT was so upset that they got stuck playing little ole LSU in that game, in their own backyard. Their triple option attack didn't exist that night.
