this kid is going to be turning heads all year. he can do anything on the field and he's a great kid off it. Who else thinks he'll be good enough to take Shep's spot as the 1b? Everyone just sit back and watch this kid leave his own legacy behind as one of the best to ever wear the purple and gold for the tigers!

What is it with people trying to come up with really weak nicknames for these players?

No. People are selling RS way too short. He wasn't one of the most hyped prospects in Texas getting recruited because he sucked. Do people forget last year was his FIRST year playing WR, including HS? Jesus, let people develop.

That nickname is really gay. But yes based on what I saw yesterday he's going to be good, very good. The guy just has a knack for getting open. I don't think he overtakes shep, who also looked pretty damn good yesterday.

I think they're going to be different types of receivers. Jarvis as a #1 guy, OBJ as a #2. I hope they both go in the 1st round together

from the sounds of yesterday, Shep has really come along. sounds like he got the better of Simon a few times.

Never seen OBJ in person, but film looks like two different styles. IMO, OBJ has speed and smooth hips. JL has quickness and shiftiness. Both have good hands and superb open field vision. JL will get you the tough yards and catch with a man hanging all over him, but he won't be a deep threat. OBJ can change direction at full speed and can potentially take it the distance from anywhere on the field. JL will make the QBs look better and move the chains. JL is a lot stronger than his metrics would make you believe. Looks like either guy would make an excellent punt returner some day.

Landry has the best hands of any Tiger receiver...including RR.

Primetime Sanders said Landry was the best natural catcher of the football he had seen since Jerry Rice. He said this after watching him at Under Armour Game/Practices.

Ha ha...Primetime likes hyperbole...but JL's hands are as good as anyone IMO.

I like hearing that Shep is maturing at WR too. We need 'em all!!
