i have been trying to do a road to glory as a cornerback but i am having a lot of trouble. in the past games i was very good at cornerback but in the new one i can't really figure it out.

my first problem is with jump balls. i can't get my player to go up for them. i press the strafe button then press Y (like in the previous ncaa games) but my player doesn't jump.

my second problem is when i break on the ball and press Y to catch it my player doesn't always go towards the ball, he just stabs at the air most of the time giving up the completion and usually big yards after.

any tips or suggestions would be great thanks.

Because of rocket catches, they took away the ability to turn quickly for DBs and WRs. It baffles me that they couldn't think of a better fix. Now it's tough to defend a deep ball when you have the WR beat. You have to slow down, blocking the WR, and time it so that you get to the ball at just the right time.
