It is on ESPN Insider....Is there anyone that has it that could give me the reasons as to why he thinks we could.

Hell, we COULD run the table and JJ COULD win the Heisman and Les COULD shite on the 50yd line of Tiger Stadium during the Auburn game. SWIDT?

Because he doesn't realize we aren't USCe or MSU? THAT'S the kind of teams that will regress.

a lot of games versus ranked teams.
just random luck could result in losses.
so he can get to look like a prophet.
I think he's wrong though. regress is such a strong word.
I suppose its all about percentages. No one will remember his prediction if LSU goes 14-0 and Miles holds up the trophy.
What are the chances that the QB position is even worse this year? Well, its not zero. I think its more likely that the QB position is better, but its POSSIBLE its a bit worse.
LB looks like trouble to me. That's going to be worse, in my opinion. That could really matter.
I think the O line is a little better, the D line is a little better, and the DBs are about the same, very good.
What about pure blind luck? Ball bounces funny. Other team wins.
What about "interesting" calls, similar to the Peterson interception in which I am certain I saw him scrape the ground with his right foot and guarantee the INT. It happens.
Sometimes a team loses and there is a public apology later that the officials missed the call. I saw one last year re Missouri, or maybe it was the year before. Whatever, it happens. Bad calls.
So you add up the bad calls, bad bounces, pure luck, hitting the goal post and it bounces in or bounces out, and the tipped ball that is INT. So sure, they could APPEAR to regress and end up 8-4, but they may be a better team and lose games, or worse team and go undefeated.
Its just some guy trying to make a living.
What does it cost him to run LSU down?

All I asked for was his reasons as to why...never said I thought he was right or wrong..

Thankyou, and I agree 100% with you...I just dont see our QB's getting worse... only thing that concerns me is the D line shutting down the run, LBs getting up to speed and the gauntlet of the SEC West.

Boy the season is not coming around fast enough. I want us to make people respect us to the point they don't want to play us on their schedule.

Throw in only 1 proven WR, young RBs & an overall young secondary.

If what they say about JJ is true "this year" that concern may either make or break the offense...I want to believe that our WRs will perform better with more consistent QB play but it remains to be seen.

Everyone not named Rueben Randle is a question mark at WR.

Dooley may have mental retardation per LSU

Is Landry going to be good to go by Sep. 3rd?
I had seen a report that he had a stress fracture in his foot... dint follow up on it so I wasnt sure if this was true.

media pulls emotional chains to create ad sales...ot to offer a "different" opinion...and you fall right into the trap.

God bless anyone that has to come across the middle with Reid or Loston back there.

not really.
Peterson, ware, boone, wright, shepard will all be catching passes. And 3 of those are very good at it.
