Stopped in last night and had a nice meal. I don't have a lot of experience with this cuisine (other than Pho) so I can't compare the execution to other places but my wife and I enjoyed it a lot.
We started out with their spring roll appetizer which was 4 spring rolls with 3 or 4 shrimp inside, along with veggies, noodles, basil and I think a slice of pork, wrapped in rice paper and with a great peanut dipping sauce. These were nice sized (bigger than your typical fried eggroll)and the flavor was light and lively. They looked a bit different from the pic on their menu in that they were longer and not cut on the end.
I tried out their Banh Mi Dac Biet:
Vietnamese Special POBOY:
French Bread spread with cream and Pate stuffed with Ham, Grill Pork and Veggies.
The bread was great on the sandwich (light and flaky) and the the flavors were again very vibrant. This "po-boy" isn't your American style sandwich loaded down with with meat (but with more in it than the one shown on their menu pic).
With the appetizer and entree I felt satisfied but not overly full...this would be a great place for lunch that won't leave you in a food coma when you go back to work.
The wife had Bun Tom Thit Nuong:
Vermicelli Noodle with Shrimp, Grill Pork and Veggies.
This had a generous portion of noodles with a good amount (but not excessive) of meat, shrimp and veggies, with a thin sauce to pour over the meal which was lightly sweet and toasted peanuts.
She enjoyed this dish as well and was full just before getting to the bottom of the bowl (conveniently leaving me a few bites).
They have 5-6 beers on tap (including Andy Gator), several bottled beers and a well stocked bar.
The inside is much nicer than what you would expect from judging the exterior and was very clean. The place is family run and the service was welcoming and friendly.
There was another table of people who were clearly enjoying their meal and another guy at the bar. I hope they are getting a good bit of business and that they stick around. I'll be back.

Sounds really good. Funny name for a Vietnamese place

Yeah, not sure where the name comes from...I almost asked
They have a lot of tv's in the place and there are speakers and dance type lights as well...it looks like they may do parties as well.

Bump for lunch consideration.
Also, T.C. needs to be added to the dining guide
