dude seems to be tearing it up in AAA. I don't follow major league baseball very closely and certainly not the Padres, but is there any chance he gets called up soon? he's batting .302 w/ 14 hr, 48 rbi, .357 obp, and an .880 ops (very good)

Gibbs wasn't that great when Clark played
eta: Ok I was wrong he actually batted .322 as a freshman. I guess his numbers were just so godly his junior year, it made his other years look pedestrian

Petco is a huge park, id be surprised how he did out there. He wasnt the fleetest of foot

Those numbers aren't anything special for the PCL, which is a high scoring league. The league average OPS is north of .800. The average OPS on his team is .844.

Matt Clark has lost like 30 or 40 pounds since he was at LSU. I think he's ok in the OF

He went 4/6 with 2 HR's and 8 RBI last night to bring his AAA season total to

He needs to be in an American league system...his glove isn't that particularly great and SD has a good 1B already...He would make for a great DH.
