Chip, I can't help you too much finding handloading supplies in BR and NO, but I have some other suggestions for you. Like you, I live in the NW part of LA. I was in BR a few months ago so thought I'd visit a few gun stores while there. Unfortunately, many were closed on Sat, did not answer the phone or didn't carry the guns I was looking for. I ended up only going to Cabela's. Bought #500 cast bullets and some primers there at a decent price. Here's my thread from back then: LINK

You may already be familiar w/ Custom Ballistics just down I20 near Greenwood. If not, I recommend it. They don't have a website, but here's the contact info: LINK .

I also can recommend Third Generations Shooting Supply in OK. (LINK have decent prices, BUT have a flat $4.99 shipping and only $20 hazardous shipping fee. A few weeks ago I ordered 28# of gun powder for only $4.99 shipping plus hazardous shipping fee.

Good luck finding your supplies. It seems to be getting harder and harder to find handloading supplies. Consequently, I find myself ordering more from the web.
