Why is TD crashing IE?

I run Win 7 on a decent machine...nothing special. Over the last couple of days, TD has started locking and then crashing IE. I don't have a virus (checked), so not sure if this is an IE compatability problem or something in the bannars on TD. Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this. Not a world killer issue.

I'm using IE on Win7 and have no problems with this.

td has been giving me script errors in chrome as well lately.
