In this day and age, you simply can't have your upperclassmen, team leaders, and all-americans making bad PUBLIC decision that endanger lives of teammates and the general public....

Even without the benefit of the car, he was getting at least one game.

I said it yesterday, Kelly/Oregon will act quickly on this to try to keep the NCAA from going crawl around Oregon and track down the truth to this "Cargate" It could get a whole lot worse at that point.

Find my "this will show what kind of man Chip Kelly is" thread. Basically said the same thing.

What most fans don't realize is that CFB coaches are more than coaches. They are fathers also. Ppl send their kids off for 3-5 years in a crucial part of their young lives, and expect that coach to help them transition to manhood. That is why Chip had to suspend him. Its a lesson for Cliff and the younger players. They are young ambassadors for their families, their community, their hometown, and their university. And as such, they have to be taught to represent them well.

CK could've pulled a Meyer though and said it was being handled internally or suspend him for the first half of Nevada.

It is okay to give props where they are deserved.

My whole post is giving props to Chip.

Like i said, he is taking on that father role, and not just a football coach role

This thread is absolute bullshite. There is nothing up with the rental situation. Our compliance office has looked into it and the local media here have been showing vids of the paper trail. So even suggesting such things is a joke.

As for Cliffy. How again did he endanger anyone? He was not swerving? He was not driving wreckless. I happen to of been at speeds over 200mph in a car and many more times on a bike. To a experienced hand, going over 100mph is nothing. The Germans daily drive over that and often 160mph or more on the German Autobahn. Blowing this up because you do not have a clue what your talking about is a joke. Yes it would be one thing if Cliffy was drunk and swerving all around. The cop said no drinking or drugs were involved. He just got put in a car(which of course he should NOT of been driving with a suspended license) however the cop did not give him a wreckless driving ticket(which is also a misdemeanor in my great State of Oregon)because he noticed no uncontrollably of the car and also there were very few other cars on this boring straight stretch that was deserted by other traffic.

So let me ask you gents. Have you ever speeded ever? Even 1 mph over? (of course). And also, how many of you have taken a car on a lonely straight stretch of road and for a few seconds floored it to see how fast it could do? And well, so did he. But he got caught. And really, that was not even all that fast that he got caught.

Step in some real cars that can do 160-190 and then talk. Doing 118 can be done in any economy car almost. And if you have never done this, as long as the front end/suspension is good such on a new car when you do these speeds you will notice it is kind of boring. Some cars are so well built they just float at that speed and one hardly realizes they are going so fast. One sometimes cannot tell they are going so fast unless the A)look at the speedo. B)look to the sides to see how fast the trees are going by.

I really wish all of you had a chance to be Born in the great State of Montana and raised as I was. You would get to enjoy the freedom of driving whatever speed you wished obeying the general rule of as long as the roads were safe(ie. no ice, snow, ect. ect.) And you would have appreciated driving across that long boring sparsely populated state in record times all while being fully 100 percent legal. And same thing for Germany. If the millions over there can handle it I do not see why other Americans are not able to as well.

But using your LSU TD culture speak. I am finding this topic gone German. lol This whole issue is completely German. And it should be so, as the Germans could easily teach some Americans some lessons on how to drive. Or closer to home, take a drive up to Montana and they could teach you as well.

Do you really expect anyone here to take you seriously?

How about we all agree to call B.S on your statement?

As per the Montana Attorney General’s office:LINK :

"Montana law also requires motorists to operate their vehicles in a careful and prudent manner and at a reduced rate of speed, taking into account the traffic, weather, visibility and road conditions.”

The following speed limits went into effect May 28, 1999.
Type of Highway Cars and Light Trucks
Daytime: Interstate: 75, Interstate in Urban Area (all three in state!) 65, Two-lane: 70.
Nighttime: Interstate: 75, Interstate in Urban Area 65, Two-lane: 65.

The highways in Montana are in such rough shape that a Cajun would feel like he was driving to his camp on a dirt road.

Or ever worse. Who was the coach that suspended some starters for like the first series or first quarter of a big game a few years ago? I wanna say it was Tressel, but I'm not exactly sure.

Is this a question or statement?

I think he was driving wreckless, because there was no crash.

he noticed no uncontrollably of the car

Don't hate on the car for its uncontrollablyness.

No, I have never speeded never.

I can do 118 with an old bicycle almost.

"shite, those Oregon trees can flat-out fly!"

No thanks, I'm satisfied with my birthplace where grammar was taught.

The very definition of "reckless" and "endangering" is someone going 118 mph AT NIGHT, on a public road, with others in the car, and NOT BEING LICENSED TO OPERATE A VEHICLE!

You are simply an ASSclown who doesn't know shite. And if you ever even approached the speeds you speak of, it was under controlled conditions by pros on a closed course where speeding is allowed, if not, you are a wreckless endagering piece of shite!

Just to let you know, IF he would have wrecked and killed anyone in the car or another car, he would be put on trial for manslaughter or possibly 2nd degree murder, depending on what cause the crash! DO you disagree?

Don't be so fricking stupid just cause its a guy on your team, it really does make you look like a dumb frick to all.

And, if you have all these bad arse cars and motorcycles, PROVE IT LOSER...SHOW A PIC WITH A "TD" SIGN ON THE WINDOW!

GFY
