Serenity: The Firefly Movie--Update Page 3 w/ Review and *SPOILERS*

I watched the Firefly series on Netflix specifically because of this board. Had it not been for you all, it never would have crossed my radar as I'm generally not a big SciFi guy. But I absolutely LOVED the show and now I'm furious that it got cancelled so early on with so many unresolved issues.
How is the movie? Does it do anything to tie up the loose ends? Will I be able to find some semblance of closure and move on with my life?

The movie is awesome. And yes, there are some significant reveals, particularly about The Reavers.

If you loved the show why wouldn't you watch the movie? Yes, it's well worth the watch.

I watched the movie before I ever saw the series. The movie was fine as a stand alone.

You'll be disappointed. It has the cast of Firefly, but it's really a companion piece to Far Out Space Nuts.

The movie is great and it really wraps up the series well.

Going into the movie I thought it should be pretty entertaining. Leaving the movie the wife and I agreed one of the best movies we've seen. I can watch that movie over and over. Like others said it wraps up the series well.
