Twice even. I read the credits and even did a little searching about it on the net. I was wondering...the Nick Cage Character is John Milton. Was the movie supposed to be some kind of modern version of Paradise Lost? Sort of like Oh Brother Where Art thou was based on Homer's Odyssey?
I guess I was trying to find something redeeming about the movie besides the hot lead chick. It was certainly a throwback to the 70s muscle car movies.

Watched this yesterday, was entertaining as hell. 
And I'm not sure if it was suppose to be a modern version but the name was definitely intended.

Watching it a second time with the idea of Paradise Lost did add something to the story line. My wife called it filthy and disgusting I agree that it was entertaining...just couldn't admit that to her.
