There is no doubt that our defensive line will get penetration and apply pressure "sounds sexual sorry", but I'm afraid alot of the time Oregon will be letting them. I'm not worried about Oregon getting around the edges, but will the dline and or linebackers be disciplined enough for Kelly? See my examples! A&m used it against us on this Shovel pass go to 5:35 mark!LINK

Now Watch Oregon using multiple plays against Auburn's rush attack! a screen at 2:06 ; play action at 3:04 ; etc. 4:51 ; 10:02 ; 10:13 !!! LINK

We are very aggressive and if we aren't ready for the style of offense that has given us fits at times, it could mean huge plays for Oregon.

That's all true, but we have had plenty of time to prepare. I'm sure the defense will have a plan to defend all of that.

That shovel pass didn't go for many yards. I am sure LSU will expect it more against us than TAMU.

What I did see in that game was more opportunity to run than Auburn allowed.

Tannenhill made some stupid plays in that game. Mathieu was yelling blitz and he didn't pick it up.

Les Miles and Chavis are sitting in a room watching film. They know that Oregon is going to do what Oregon does. Oregon will probably try to run something unusual that we haven't seen(say I-Formation) but when the games gets tight they'll play their football. So the more we watch the more our players will know what to do.

We had/have six months to practice for this game. If LM has shown us one thing its that he comes to play out of long breaks(Bowls, bye weeks, opener)

Mathieu usually yells blitz every play he's in regardless if he's coming or not

Yeah, and no one picked him up. There should be some kind of hot read when a db is dancing at the LOS that close to the box. Oregon won't let that happen. It's obvious that Tannenhill is an unpolished product in those highlights. A lot of those mistakes were self inflicted.

Normally yes but I like I said he's usually dancing at the LOS every play, and 95% of the time its after 20 seconds of the playclock winding down, something you can't see on that video. A DE normally isn't gonna do much as 2:26 shows. It's not as simple as just "make a hot read" and boom problem solved like you want it to be

Oregon won't give you 20 secs and DT won't be going straight back. I hardly remember us getting sacked at all last year. Oregon gave up 9 sacks last year.

Again, Tannenhill (sp?) looked good when he wasn't throwing the ball at your secondary. A couple of those were just misreads.

really? How many passes in a row did he have w/o an interception before the LSU game? He had some good audibles and looked great on timing routes.

I think what you meant to say was a lot of those mistakes were t rex inflicted.

Two of those ints should not have happened. One was to your secondary guy with no receiver in the vecinity. I am sure that Oregon will look for #14 on every play. Isn't Tannenhill the converted WR? Sorry, but a lot of those plays looked avoidable. I remember watching that game on like Christmas (right?) and feeling bad for TAMU. It was like one foot forward and two back.

Well, I watched it and don't know why I would have been at my granparents. Anyway, TAMU seemed to shoot themselves in the foot a lot.

Unbelieveable! It just kills Duck fans to give any sort of compliment. And you guys cry that LSU fans don't give enough respect.

Ya you are right, anything good that LSU did, especially TM, was avoidable and only happened by blind luck or crappy play by the opponent. Tanneyhil was garbage and aTm was nothing.

bisonduck come on. Now i've been very fair with your weak conference! Now A&M got owned and your acting like they beat themselves! Again SEC defense vs Pac 12 is two different animals. Only 7 sacks huh! be prepared for atleast half of that the first game.

C'mon, dude, tannenhill throws the pick when his WR is running a hook and he throws the long route. Either way...it's a frick up. The fumble with Matheiu, Tannenhill never looked to that side of the field. Matheiu is line up right next to the end with no WR.

Sorry, I didn't say that TAMU should've won that game. You need thicker skin. TAMU has some impressive athletes all over the field as well.

At the 4:00 minute mark Tannenhill throws the ball to the only guy in double coverage.

T-rex did that same sack to many Qb's last season. Did you see his highlight reel? He is freakin quick coming off the edge! LINK I'm fine with bashing Tannenhill for throwing that pick, but what about the others that were truely picked??

Bison, you are as sad as ducksfly. You lost what little credibility you had. You claim you want to have normal conversations here yet you make as asinine statements as ducksfly then cry if anyone here doesn't agree that UO is the best at everything. You are going to have a hard time continuing conversations when the whole board realizes you are as much of an idiot as ducksfly. I personally won't waste anymore time on someone that makes the statements you do. Good luck opening game.
