I'm as novice as it gets with investing, but wanted to start learning. What better way to learn than to jump in.
My question, Is Sony worth looking at? Since the ID theft issues, the stock has dropped a ton. Does anyone believe it may rebound once the confidence is restored?
Since March it has dropped like 10 points about 30%.
Can someone give me some knowledge on investing in a company that I would consider traditionally strong with good market recognition, that has recently suffered setbacks... what should I look for?

not sure I would want to take on a speculative stock as my first purchase. Find a consistent stock that pays good dividends, imho. For example, if psn members start getting their identity stolen left and right they are going to be looking at some big class action lawsuits.
