I need a new grill and I forgot I threw out my broiler pan but I bought a 1.3 pound bone in ribeye. I know I need to get the pan real hot but will this come out okay? Should I use any oil?

I roll my steaks in melted butter when cooking in a skillet. The flavor is much better than oil, IMO. You can add fresh cracked pepper and coarse kosher salt after rolling in butter to make it even better.

Yeah.. coat the outside with kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper... sear the crap out of it with a little butter and oil mixed (higher smoking level mixed with flavor)

Finish it in your oven set to broil... about 15 minutes...

while it's cooking melt some butter with some roasted garlic... a pinch of salt and white pepper and whip it good..

place on steak.

Black and blue just for you
