Where is the best and cheapest place to get an Xbox 360 or PS3?

also does anyone have a 4GB Xbox? How well does it work? How far does the memory go?

Probably Wal-Mart. I can give you a 20gb drive though. Still won't go far.

I'm thinking about getting the 4 GB and then once I have more money that I can spend getting the hard drive from X Box for 100

Depends. What model Xbox are you getting? I'm assuming you're talking about the Slim if it's 4GB. Don't get that, it is not enough memory if you want to download anything. You are better off paying extra for the 250GB. Although, if you don't download too much, you can use a flash drive to store up to 16GB.
I think you would be better off paying extra for the 250GB, because 4GB is not enough and flash drives are a hassle IMO.
ETA: This only applies if you're getting the Slim.

this is what I'm thinking of doing and then when I have the money (100) buy the 250GB hard drive separate.
