What is the purpose of the "Who's on?" link that appears on every board page?

It just moves down the page but doesn't show who is on.

It shows you the total # of users that are "on".

it will eventually take you to a page that lists the users...this was to help conserve bandwidth...that list can get big and showing it on every click of the forum indexes was a waste.

I always wondered what happened to the big name list thing at the bottom of the page. Now I know. Chicken, you da Man!
