I have cringed everytime we put him in this year. I am so happy for him and really excited for LSU. If we can make the NCAA tourny, he could be a real help.

It's not overreacting, it's giving a man his due credit. Something you seem to have trouble doing.

Great game pitching for him but it was against a hapless Division III roster. Might as well of been pitching against a good H/S team. I likethe fact he finally had a good outing, but I still cant expect him to do anything for us when it comes time to win some big games.

Nice outing by Tyler. I think CPM should reward him with a bag of chips or something he might enjoy.

But let's not get too excited. UNO doesnt have one .300+ hitter.

But, give the boy his due. Congrats on a well pitched game. 108 pitches, 15 k's, 1 walk, 0 runs....it's nice to see stats like that.

It doesnt matter who you are playing, his problem this season was control and tonight he finally had some! Just imagine if he continues to control his pitches, he could be pitching on Sundays in 2012.

Gausman, McCune, and Eades is LSU's rotation next season.

No freshmen looking to break into it? What about Nola's little brother?

Just dont know if Eades gets it together.

If LSU's season ends this weekend (meaning they get swept), this will be the last time we Tyler Jones wearing an LSU uniform.

And...

Jesus Christ bro, the guy is still not 100% from serious surgery on his shoulder. I think, for the circumstances, Eades has been great.

That's my point, how do we know he will ever be "Fully recovered" from his surgery and perform to his potential on a regular basis.

Good job Jones, but he was playing one of the worst teams in the entire country.

Well he is way ahead of schedule at this point. The thought before the season was that he may be ready for the last third of the schedule.

Mutual decision. He'll get drafted somewhere at start his pro career.
